RED AND WHITE BOOSTER CLUB
The S.H.S. Red & White Booster Club is a “VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION” made up of parents, alumni, faculty and friends. Our mission statement is “To provide financial assistance and support for all athletics and extra-curricular clubs at Streator High School to enhance the quality of their activities”. We are dedicated to the ongoing support of our students.
The monies we raise help fund requests made by teams and/or clubs which benefit the students of S.H.S. In the last two years, we have donated almost $50,000 to cover costs of uniforms, camps, equipment and conferences.
To continue the support of these requests, it is crucial coaches/sponsors and families of all students involved in extra-curricular activities join and support the Red & White Boosters.
Hours worked are designated to the sport or club of your choosing. We then track the hours by club and/or sport and when requests come in for monies we grant them based on the time volunteered.
We will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets at all home varsity football games and varsity basketball games. We have other volunteer opportunities by attending meetings, working at the Drive for School event, or helping with concession stands.
We are asking for anyone who has a child in any extra-curricular at SHS to consider helping at one of our events. It would greatly relieve the burden of the few who are already involved and volunteering their time. And, it benefits YOUR student.
